The project "May Day" presents the Cambodian-German network of artists.
artists: Vera Lossau, Sophal Neak, Lilla von Puttkamer, Carola Rümper, Sao Sreymao, Sao Sopheak.
The intercultural collaboration between the artists of the "may day" project began in 2022. Since then, projects and exhibitions have been realized at various locations in Berlin (Germany) and Phnom Penh (Cambodia). The network was founded to establish a sustainable exchange. Cultural differences are incorporated into the discursive, artistic exploration. An important focus of the network is the realization of projects in both countries.
